GRAY MALIN EXHIBITION & COLLAB WITH SPERRY - LISBON UMBRELLA & CO at COLETTE STORE

The photographer Gray Malin travels around the world, shooting the most beautiful beaches while flying above in a helicopter. “From above, a simple beach or pool becomes a blank canvas that allows me to start seeing the world as art. People and objects become patterns creating repetition, shape and form. These photographs are a visual celebration of colour, light, shape— and summer bliss.”  Gray created images according to Sperry Spirit that travelling is more than a simple picture, as Sperry shoe than a simple boat shoe. It’s a shared experience and a way of life invitation, the one within everyday is an escape. Inspired by a shot of his feet dangling over the beaches of Chicago, Gray reached out to Sperry to create a collection that features three of Gray's famous beach photographs on four of Sperry's most iconic silhouettes for both men and women. The collaboration results in a collection of men and women shoes, that includes 3 famous photographs  taken in Lisbon (Portugal), Cefalù (Sicile) and Le Cap ( South Africa).
