Discover, "La Boutonne" a rehab architecture project of an hold house located in Surgeres (France) re-designed by Rive Architectes.
The main building body of 300m2 of living space has a North/South orientation and benefits from high ceilings and volumes as well as generous openings. The intervention has been minimal here in order to preserve the authenticity of the built envelope and the raw aspect of the existing materials. The charm of the house has been preserved with an intervention full of small touches in a more modern and refined language.
