XINOBI AT PLAYGROUND CAMP, BURNING MAN 2026 - A HYPNOTIC JOURNEY THROUGH THE DESERT NIGHT

In the Black Rock Desert, as temperatures drop and night falls over Black Rock City, music becomes a meeting point, almost a refuge. It was in this atmosphere that Portuguese DJ and producer Xinobi took over the decks at Playground Camp during Burning Man 2026. A distinctive voice in Portugal’s electronic music scene and co-founder of the independent label Discotexas, Xinobi has developed a sound that moves beyond the boundaries of club music, blending deep house textures, organic elements, evocative melodies and a distinctly cinematic sense of melancholy.

That signature is at the heart of this 76-minute set, conceived as a melodic and hypnotic journey rather than a simple sequence of tracks. From deep, atmospheric passages to steadily evolving rhythms, the mix builds in intensity while keeping emotion at its core. Xinobi’s own productions and remixes sit alongside tracks from Adana Twins, Sigur Rós, Julian Luna and Adam Valey, as well as Jan Blomqvist and Rodriguez Jr., creating a dialogue between introspection and movement. His rework of Svefn-g-englar brings an almost contemplative dimension to the journey, while Oxalá, The Stars and Piano Lessons further explore the space between emotional depth and dancefloor momentum.

More than a technical showcase, this set captures a moment of connection in the vastness of the desert: immersive, warm and quietly uplifting music that brings bodies and minds together. A soundtrack for getting lost in the night, letting time slow down and rediscovering, in the middle of nowhere, the warmth of a shared experience.
